Michaela Bradnam
Physiotherapist
Michaela attained a Bachelor of Health Science in Physiotherapy from AUT in 2011. She has also completed a Postgraduate certificate in Western Acupuncture in 2015.
Since 2016 she has been working out of Waiouru Military Camp, seeing Army personnel. The job has given her a very diverse case-load and plenty of experience with treating lower limb overuse injuries. She has had many success stories through strengthening rehabilitation and preventative training.
As a busy mum to three boys, she understands the importance of life balance. She brings this ethos to the treatment room, ensuring the body is not just thought of as a physical being, but the embodiment of all elements of a person

Rachel Gotlieb
Acupuncturist
Rachel is always saying she loves what she does! She loves the simplicity of Chinese medicine (CM).
She enjoys the mechanical aspect of musculoskeletal treatments. She uses CM to encourage faster healing and recovery and supplement the body's energy and postural awareness to prevent repetitive injuries from occurring. She also specialises in digestive issues, women’s health, ART and fertility as well as obstetrics. And teaches pilates classes, focusing on better postural alignment.
Rachel (Ngāpuhi) has always had a strong calling to her Chinese and Maori culture. Believing there are gems in the philosophies of indigenous cultures that should be passed into the fast-paced Western culture. Allopathic medicine has a reductionist approach, breaking down the individual pieces, whereas Chinese medicine is more holistic, looking at the interconnectedness of various signs and symptoms and the story they tell.
It is not about taking a path of meditation and abstinence but incorporating small conscious everyday acts that nurture you to well-being. Teaching yourself not to be too busy for you.
When not treating Rachel is chasing her 6 year old child around and sorting things around the clinic.
